Periwinkle Policies

Minimum Stays

  • Peak Season weekends Mid-June through Mid-September, and all Special Events and Holidays within any season require a three night minimum stay.
  • All other reservations in Peak Season require a two night minimum stay.

Charges

  • Reservations require 100% pre-payment.
  • Special requests such as champagne, flowers or candy will result in a service charge which is due upon arrival.
  • A minimum number of children’s cots and “pack and plays” are available for an additional $25 per night for children 12 and under. Rooms are based on double occupancy and not all our rooms can accommodate extra beds: for those that can, cots are available for an additional $60 per night for adults and children over 12 years of age. Please request at time of booking.
  • Lodging tax of 11.7% is added to all bills.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation notice received 21 days or more prior to arrival will be charged a 10% cancellation fee and be refunded the balance.
  • Cancellation notice received within 21 days of arrival will be charged a 10% cancellation fee and be refunded the balance providing the room is rebooked for the same period at the same price; otherwise, all or any portion of the stay not rebooked will be charged, and if there is any balance, it will be refunded to you less the 10% cancellation fee.
  • For group bookings that require the entire property for weddings and special events, a cancellation notice must be received 60 days prior to arrival.

Check In and Check Out

  • Check in is 3:00 pm.
  • Check out time is 11:00 am.

Smoking Policy

Our Inns are non-smoking properties. A fee of $200 is charged for cleaning after smoking is detected in rooms and/or within the Inn.

Pet Policy

There are absolutely no pets of any kind allowed at the Periwinkle Inn.

Nantucket Basket Policies

Minimum Stays

  • Reservations have to be made with the Innkeeper@nantucketinns.com, please include your dates & phone number.
  • During Peak Season, mid-June through mid-September, a one week stay, Sunday to Sunday, is required. During Peak Season, mid-June through mid-September, a one week stay is required.
  • During the off peak season, weekend or weekday stays are available with a minimum of 3-4 days.

Charges

  • Reservations require 100% pre-payment.
  • A security deposit of 15% is required.
  • One small dog requires an additional $500 security deposit and the type and size of dog must be approved by the Innkeeper.

Cancellation Policy

  • No cancellations are accepted for this property.
  • If the Innkeeper can rebook, you will receive a refund for the rebooked amount less the 15% fee.
  • For group bookings that require the entire property for weddings and special events, a cancellation notice must be received 60 days prior to arrival.

Check In and Check Out

  • Check in is 3:00 pm.
  • Check out time is 10:00 am.

Smoking Policy

This is a non-smoking property. A fee of $400 is charged for cleaning after smoking is detected in the cottage.
